Autoimmune Flare-Ups are a warning sign. They are meant to tell us our body is entering into a toxic state and that we need to shift the way we create, feel, hold, and ignore stress. I have treated many people who were diagnosed with autoimmune disorders and those who came out from underneath the drowning feeling of disempowering symptoms all had one thing in common, they were incredibly stressed out before the autoimmunity issues began, and the stress was what they dealt with.
The list below is oversimplified. Please ask me for any clarification. It is also in note form and is not complete. It is a starting place for a conversation.
Stress (emotional, physical, spiritual)
Nervous System Regulates Stress
Allergies & Autoimmune Crisis
Lymphatic System flushes histamines, oxalates, toxins, etc…
Swimming or Health Bounce on the Trampoline
Balance your opposite disposition (ie: if you are feminine, more masculine activities, and vice versa)
Breathwork (Morning: Priming / Evening: Calming) + Mindfulness meditation

When I first started suffering from allergies I was in my mid 30s and it was a surprise for me. I grew up without any allergies. So it took me a few years to find what worked for me to minimize the symptoms and keep myself as unaffected as possible. The top 3 healthy & natural things that work for me are avoiding all foods that are high in histamines, taking “non-histamine producing” probiotics, and doing nasal saline rinses twice a day (once when I wake up and once before bed). And if I ever wake up with a lot of symptoms I do a heavy flush with about 6 times the amount of liquid I use for a single daily flush.
Single flush (for maintenance, do once morning & night for symptom prevention)
-Add 1 cup (8 oz) distilled water to a clean container. Fill up a 48oz container with filtered tap water. Then pour approximately a third (16oz) of that water into an electric boiler until it boils. Then pour it back into the water container and check for a perfect lukewarm temperature that will feel comfortable inside the nose.
-Add 1/2 teaspoon sea salt to the water (avoid sea salt that contains dioxins)
-Add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda (makes the salt burn less)
Heavy flush (for treating allergy attacks/sinus issues, for maintenance do once per week or monthly)
-Add 6 cups (48 oz) distilled water to a clean container. Fill up a 48oz container with filtered tap water. **Everything above is crucial for setting yourself up for less allergy suffering. However, the most important thing I ever did related to my allergies was to stop taking allergy medications. Avoid taking anti-histamines, decongestants, and steroids like Zyrtec, Allegra, Claritin, Benadryl, Clarinex, Sudafed, Afrin, Nasonex, Flonase, Nasacort, Deltasone, etc… These things make you dependent on them, they have a lot of bad side effects and eventually you end up building a tolerance and needing more and more to be effective. These things are better used in last minute emergencies, not on a daily basis.
